Where do food babies come from?
I’ve noticed a few belle pepper flowers that bloomed, hung around for a while, then shriveled up and fell off the plant. This morning I decided to investigate…why aren’t my food babies growing? Internet told me that I might have a pollination problem.

I released the ladybugs into my containers over the span of a couple weeks. They set up camp, ate, fell in love, had babies…it was all very kumbayah. After a week or so, I noticed that the aphids were back. Not on all of the plants, just the broccoli, banana peppers, and tomato. Summon Polka Dot army!
This is the my last resort. We’ve tried home made remedies, store bought all natural remedies, and straight up scraping them off. If this fails, the aphids will have officially ruined my life.

Retaliation!!!
The aphids have retaliated. They must work in warp speed.
After the eggplants flowered, the aphids showed up. After a couple days went by, the soap and water mixture didn’t seem to cut it. We grudgingly went to the store and bought an all natural spray. We’ve been spraying them every day, but it seems that as they clear off one plant they move to another.
